The New Sunday Experience

The Unity culture is very loving and thrives on personal contact and a special energy that is palpable on Sunday mornings.  Most say they feel at home their first visit and long time members thrive on the hugs, the positive message and the uplifting music and song!  Suddenly, in March 2020, Rev John, our volunteers, and our staff adapted to a new paradigm literally overnight to keep this community thriving.  We began a virtual Sunday experience and have now evolved to open the sanctuary on Sundays while still providing a virtual experience at the same time.  At this time, all meditations, classes, and meetings are still conducted online.  We welcome you if you have discovered this positive approach to Christianity in 2020!  Sunday Services are at 10:30 am, 787 Layfayette Rd., Medina OH and on Facebook or YouTube "Unity of Medina"

If you do plan to attend the in-person Sunday services, these are the adjustments we have made for everyone's safety:

~ Congregants must evaluate their "wellness" prior to coming to church. Ushers will be taking temperatures at the entrance using a "touch free" thermometer.

~ Compliance to face masks will be verified. Congregants must wear masks, including children over the age of two. Masks will be available at the front door for those who have forgotten their own.

~ Maintain a 6 ft. distance from each other. No hugging, handshakes, or other touching which invades the 6 ft. perimeter. Wherever it is anticipated that a line may form, there will be tape on the floor to designate 6 ft. distance from one another. Chairs cannot be moved except by ushers or board members.

~ No coffee or food will be served in the church until further notice. You may bring your own beverage in a leak-proof container.

~ There will be a method to record all who are present for tracking purposes, if necessary.

~ Please honor the 6 ft. requirement and exit immediately after the service. Socializing with discretion will be allowed in the parking lot or the grass.

~ Collections will be done without contact. It is highly recommended to contribute online. There will be a basket provided at the church also, which will be announced by Rev. Beerman at the service.

~ Temporarily, there will be no special events held in the church until further notice.

~ Instead of singing, we ask that you tap your feet, clap and dance within 6 feet of others.
