A Welcoming Spirit of Love, Acceptance and Appreciation! Unity of Medina is known for its loving, accepting atmosphere!  It is known as a safe, sacred space where you are always recognized for who you really are: a magnificent child of God, worthy of all the Good God has planned for you.  We teach that we all are created in the image and likeness of God, and we all have value.  We have a right and a responsibility to seek Truth knowing God lives within each one of us.  We are free to open our hearts wide, free to ask questions and seek answers without judgment, and free to explore and experience God working in our lives. Our new classes offer great opportunities to engage with other truth seekers!  How freeing and empowering that is!

When we greet, respond and relate to each other, we acknowledge a sacred relationship with yet another amazing expression of God.  When we are truly awake to the truth of our oneness, life becomes a welcoming adventure. We are in joy and in appreciation for one another.  We actually expect Divine Order to unfold right in front of our very eyes!  Life can be wonder-filled…..“What a Wonderful World,”  Louis Armstrong sings.

God has called Unity of Medina into being, and God has called forth people who are willing to live the principles and accept the calling to Build Unity of Medina Together.  I can’t think of a more wonderful world!  We are doing it!

Mahatma Ghandi says, “Be the change you want to see in the world!”  I invite you to reach out to others in new and wonderful ways. Introduce yourself to those you haven’t met (or don’t know very well yet) by reaching out in your own way, making eye contact and opening your heart wide, learning about another person and sharing something about yourself.  Invite open-minded folks like yourself to our Sunday service.  There are lots of people who are looking for exactly what we offer.  We are doing it!

During the next few months we will see magnificent growth and fabulous changes in our church.  Yes, our new building is nearing occupancy, perhaps even before the end of the year!  Your gifts of time, talent, energy and financial support are making this happen.  We are most grateful! The many ways in which you give will bring fulfillment to you and to many who will come.  Even more importantly, we are establishing the feel of this community. With our church community as a template, we are creating the change we want to see in the world…a world of love, acceptance and appreciation, a world that offers a welcoming spirit, a world in which we have deeper, more meaningful and long lasting connections with others.  We are doing it!

Everyday we create the kind of world in which we want to live.  We create this world with words and actions. The most fabulous church on the face of the earth is yours with mere commitment to co-create it.  How we greet, respond and relate to one another is the first step in building and maintaining healthy, loving relationships here at Unity of Medina ~ One in Spirit.  I am committed to being the change I want to see in the world, to co-create with God and with you a community that makes a difference in people’s lives.  Join me as we Build Unity of Medina Together!  We are doing it!
